SCHOOL POLICIES

PAYMENT

Music lessons are HST exempt and there is no registration fee.  Payments can be made via online credit/debit card/bank payment (additional processing fees apply) manually or can be set up on monthly autopay.  Other payment method is e-transfer: resilient.musicians@gmail.com

Payments for flat-rate monthly tuition that are either declined or not made by the 5th day after due date, will incur a $30 fee.  If tuition is still not received by the 7th day, lessons are suspended until payment is received in full.  Serial late payments may result in the student being dismissed from the School.  Payments for drop-in lessons are due by 9pm the day before scheduled lesson.  Policy and rates are subject to change on an as needed basis.

FLAT-RATE TUITION

Most months will have 4-5 weekly lessons with no extra charge for the 5th lesson.  A minimum of 3 weekly lessons are guaranteed for the months that fall on holidays. (See "HOLIDAYS" below for more info).  This monthly subscription amount remains the same regardless of how many lessons are given in the month.

Tuition is not adjusted for missed lessons.  Tuition reserves your time slot for the same day and time each week and includes: weekly lessons, student concerts, photos/videos of performances, printable sheet music, audio-recorded vocal exercises, progress reports and discounts to workshops/events.

HOLIDAYS

RMA offers lessons all year round and lessons are optional during national/provincial/ Canadian holidays unless notified (PA Day, Family Day, March Break, Good Friday, Easter, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween).

Monthly flat-rate tuition paid for lessons not taken during holidays will go toward student concerts and administrative fees.

School is CLOSED from August 15-24, and during Christmas Holiday for 2 weeks from Dec 24th, however, we are offering lessons upon request (limited availability).

Students taking a break for more than 3 weeks will be removed from the schedule.  To hold your spot, there will be a $100 non-refundable deposit
