Mary loved to sing and dance.
Music made her happy.

She was shy, introverted and had social anxiety, but music boosted her mood and self-esteem.
Mary's parents enrolled her in piano lessons and encouraged her to explore singing songs by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.

Mary continued to struggle with social anxiety which led to suicidal depression.
Music was the one thing that gave her hope and strength to keep going.
19-21 years old
Mary moved to college residence far away from home to pursue Media Arts, Film & Television Production.
However, her anxiety and depression began to worsen.
Along with singing, playing piano/guitar and dancing, she started writing her own songs & poetry as a creative outlet, and discovered its therapeutic benefits.
As a college project, Mary produced her first concert working behind-the-scenes where she led 10+ production crew members and began to break out of her shell as a producer.

Mary studied with award-winning coaches to grow further as an artist/musician.
She produced her own concerts where she performed across the city as a solo artist and in various bands in front of thousands of people, receiving radio airplay for her original songs co-written with her band members.
30-32 years old
Mary produced an expressive arts showcase featuring various artists (vocals, piano, guitar, poetry, dance, live painting) where she launched her first published book "Antilogy" about how she turned her anxiety & depression into resilience through music.
She continued to share her story at shows and speaking engagements.
